Transparent Water Level Gauge

The Transparent Type Water Level Gauge is a precision-engineered instrument designed for continuous and accurate visual indication of liquid levels in boilers, heaters, and pressure vessels . Unlike tubular or reflex gauges, the transparent gauge employs two flat toughened glasses placed on opposite sides of the chamber, allowing direct visibility of the liquid column with backlighting (natural or artificial) for clear indication. This construction ensures unambiguous water–steam interface visibility , even under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions. These gauges are widely used in high-capacity steam boilers, hot water generators, and thermal oil heaters where reliable level monitoring is essential for safe operation and prevention of dry running or over-filling . The transparent type is especially recommended when water quality is poor, or when the use of mica shields is required to protect the glass from erosion by steam and alkaline water.
