It is widely used in industries such as cement, steel, power plants, foundries, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and more. The system works on the principle of fabric filtration , where dust-laden air passes through a series of filter bags made of non-woven or woven fabric. As the dust-laden gas flows inside the bag chamber, dust particles are retained on the outer surface of the filter bags while clean air exits through the outlet. The unique feature of the pulse jet cleaning mechanism ensures that the filter bags remain clean and operational without interrupting the filtration process. High-pressure compressed air is periodically injected into the bags through a solenoid-controlled pulse valve, creating a shock wave that dislodges accumulated dust. This dust then falls into the hopper and is removed via mechanical conveyors or rotary airlocks. Pulse Jet Bag Filters are preferred over other filtration systems due to their continuous operation, compact design, higher filtration efficiency (up to 99.9%), and low maintenance requirements .
